Build in public becomes part of the test
Publishing is registered as a nested experiment. We will test whether scrutiny improves rigor, usefulness, and accountability—and watch for pressure to perform certainty.
Alpha Drive models the futures consequential decisions may create, tests their effects, and helps us choose better paths while choice remains possible.
Before asking others to trust the system, we are using it on a real decision: what Alpha Drive should become, whether it creates meaningful value, and what evidence would prove it.
Alpha Drive began as QA infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. Intelligence has escaped the lab: people and organizations can now deploy agents continuously, across systems no single actor controls. The experiment tests whether Alpha Drive's enduring value is not control, but foresight—the ability to examine possible consequences before commitments become difficult to reverse.
This ledger separates what was expected from what happened. It will include uncertainty, null results, and changes in direction—not only the clean story at the end.

Question, evidence criteria, safeguards, and unknowns are made visible before conclusions are known. The public record begins here.
Initial framing suggests that assurance remains relevant when it protects choice before deployment, not only when it audits outcomes after the fact. This remains provisional.
The protocol is deliberately small. Practice comes before platform. Every cycle should leave behind better evidence, more options, and fewer preventable harms.
Declare what cannot be traded away before optimizing outcomes.
Prefer moves that increase learning while keeping future paths open.
Record the difference between prediction and reality, then change the system.
